West Seattle Holistic Health
Full branding and advertising campaign for a vertically integrated dispensary called West Seattle Holistic Health. Includes branding for an associated hydroponics shop called Urban Garden Specialty and a glass shop called Best Piece of Glass. This was done in the early days of medical legalization when most dispensaries had fairly weak branding, usually either Rasta colors or vague medical cross imagery. I leaned in to the fun of the entire space and made funky, fun, but professional and refined branding for the company. The logo was built to be easily adapted to other locations as well – the business card images show a secondary location with the same branding. For ads, I bought scenery and a farmers market scene from a model train store, and set them up amongst comparitively giant pieces of weed to establish a funny and whimsical scene. I then did macro photography and parlayed the photos into a broad series of print and web advertisements, appearing in a variety of publications like Northwest Leaf, Dope magazine, The Stranger, and more. Controversial to some perhaps, but to establish professional branding for a legal dispensary was a unique challenge and a fun experience.
